A Summer Camp for Children
with Special Needs A Nature and Art Over-
night Camping Experience
Camp Rubber Soul is a non-profit
organization established to provide a recreational outlet for children and young adults with special needs and is not affiliated with any church, School District or state programs.
After a successful day camp program in the summer of 1990, a group of supporters banded together to offer an ongoing program of overnight nature outings. This year we are able to offer five one week fun-filled overnight camps.
Funded by donations from interested community members and businesses, Camp Rubber Soul is providing a camp-ing experience on the beautiful Mendocino Coast to children from all over California and beyond.
Camp Rubber Soul has depended on volunteer counselors to ensure one on one camper care. We require a one week commitment and offer 100 community service hours available as credit to fulfill high school graduation requirements.
